St. Andrews Day St. Andrew's Day should be a holiday I reckon. Well, I suppose most days for me are like a holiday anyhow. That's one of the good things with working for the cooncil!

That's not why I'm writing just now anyhow, I'm writing to mention my concern at something which is these days becoming an all too common occurrence. Namely, me losing at competitions.

Over on ATT we are running a competition to see when we get member number 1000. I had mid november for a while but sign ups died off for a bit. So I took Jan 16th as well. Today however there was a spate of sign ups leading to member number 990!!

FFS!! even when a formula/theory is used I can't win. Guess that's just how things are meant to be.

Catty just yelled at me to go make toast and tuna so later gators...

Schhhhmokinnnnnnn - not! Thank God for Extra Gum. I am doing well in my non-smoking-ness. Not lit up at all yet, not even bought a pack of smokes when I could have. I figure it only takes the one weak moment to blow it, so if I keep putting that moment off then it will never happen, right? lol

I got meself a flight to Bournemouth on Saturday to get the motor(below) and Alan just phoned, so will drop in on him and Susan in hmmmmm, somewhere in England, lol, on the way back home.

Catty isn't feeling so hot today, so I gotta go pamper her, just thought I'd better post something or else I'll forget stuff.

Step-Pivot-1/2 turn shuffle-behind-unwind full turn-rock and together Sounds good doesn't it, but it's a wee bit spinny. Here's the run down in "proper" notation :-

Count : Steps

1 : Step Right foot forward

2 : Turn ½ turn over your left shoulder

3+4 : Shuffle ½ turn over left shoulder right,left,right

5 : Cross/Sweep Left foot round behind right

6 : Unwind Full turn over left shoulder, finishing with weight on left

7+8 : Rock Right to right side(7), recover weight on left(&), Step right in place taking weight(8)

Repeat 1-8 for left foot.

----This is as far as I've got.

It's cool, now all I need is a track to set it to and I can write the rest of it. Something like this could be the next Pot Of Gold! lol

Having no cigs is a gawd damned nightmare. At least I know it aint gonna kill me(still feels bad though)

Marlboro Lights, PLEEEASSSE

This is the new motor I'm thinking of buying. Better than a crappy old diseasel Ford Mondeo methinks. Gonna go down and get it next weekend. Innes will have things to say no doubt, he said I shouldn't buy a BMW M3 even though there is no decent reason not to. Ho Hum.

We are officially moving!!! Probably after Xmas. We are heading north to the Aberdeen area because Catty got a job with Aker Kvaerner which is based in Dyce. When I say we are moving I really mean SHE is moving and I get to stay here a bit longer. I have my work(that I love) at North Ayrshire Council anyway so this way I get to keep it a bit longer.(Oh and the money is needed too!)

Christmas is going to be a pain in my arse this year since I need to do all the organising - buying gifts for the kids and Catty et al. organising the food, wine, etc. The buying of gifts is the bit thats giving me the most worry though. When am I supposed to get time to do that?? I suppose women have had to do this for ever, just seems harder now it's down to me! What a loser eh.

I just stopped smoking too, which so far is suckass, but it's day one so we'll see how long I'll last. I don't think I really want to stop so I doubt it will last. I've also been a crabbit bastit today which could lead to Catty making me go and buy some smokes. Coffee is already tasting better though.

I am also still without PC of my own, which is C-R-A-P since I can't save anything on this one or anything for fear of death by beating.

Anyone else reckon George Best dying on the first day of 24Hr pub opening is ironic?

I've just read over this blog and it sounds like I am a moaning old sht! Oh well, maybe the next one will do better, here's a pic of Avril to keep us going on those cold winter nights... lol
